Tottenham line-up against Leicester
James Maddison scored Tottenham’s opener as part of an influential display in their 3-2 Europa League win at Hoffenheim on Thursday, but the playmaker is not in their matchday squad against the Foxes.
Manager Ange Postecoglou hopes the problem will only keep Maddison out for one game because the midfielder is “a bit sore”.
Forward Richarlison makes his first appearance on home soil in almost three months, starting at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in February 2024.
New signing Antonin Kinsky returns to goal and Pape Matar Sarr, who had been a doubt, starts. Fellow injured player Yves Bissouma is on the bench, but Djed Spence is injured.
Defenders Destiny Udogie, Micky Van de Ven and Cristian Romero, midfielder Wilson Odobert and strikers Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner are among Tottenham’s long list of missing players.
