Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has announced the repatriation of 22 migrants who survived an illegal emigration operation. The affected individuals recently survived a “maritime incident” that occurred off Dakhla, the department said. They will be renewed in their country after verifying their identity.
“In careful coordination with the Moroccan authorities, these people will be returned to Pakistan in groups.”the Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Saturday. The department will also facilitate the return of 11 Pakistani nationals from Mauritania. These people have “voluntarily” decided to return home and will be part of a separate repatriation process, he indicated.
