According to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM), the dirham appreciated by 0.6% against the US dollar and depreciated by 0.5% against the euro in the period from January 16 to 22, 2025. No auctions were held on the foreign exchange market during this period, BAM states in its weekly bulletin. As of January 17, official foreign reserves stood at DH368.4 billion, up slightly by 0.1% week-to-week and 4% year-on-year.
