Former General Manager of NFL, Michael Lombardi, through Raiders, Tom Brady’s central role in the pursuit of Ben Johnson. Brady’s championship trunk tree could influence the Lions offensive coordinator in the direction of Las Vegas.
Lombardi brings decades of experience in the front office experience, while Brady recently came to the Raiders as a minority owner. Johnson transformed Detroits as coordinator of the NFL into one of the strongest units of the NFL.

Lombardi emphasized Brady’s team building expertise.
“In the past, I have often talked to Tom about team building in the past how to scout inside out. I think Tom will make it great,” he said.
Ian Rapoport from NFL Network revealed that those who are connected to the job believe that Ben Johnson is the leader who lands the position with the Raiders.

The coaching search has an additional weight after Las Vegas’s 4-13 season has led to shooting from head coach Antonio Pierce and GM Tom Telesco. Pro Football Talk reports that the Raiders have prepared a “massive” contract offer for Johnson, although they still have to meet the personal interview requirements of the Rooney rule.
The radio presenter Dan Patrick noted that Brady’s presence increased Raiders’ appeal to Johnson. The Lions coordinator previously rejected the possibilities of head coaches, but has a fascinated effect on working with the NFL legend.
The Raiders keep the sixth overall selection in the NFL design of 2025. This could enable Johnson and Brady to select their quarterback from prospects such as Shedur Sanders and Cam Ward.
