The Pro Taghazout Bay returns from February 22nd to March 1st 2025, confirming that Taghazout is a must-see location in global surfing. This QS 3000 event of the Africa-Europe Qualifying Series represents an important step for surfers applying for the 2025 Challenger Series.
After a first edition in 2020 and a spectacular competition in 2023, Anchor Point still promises exceptional waves. Popular with surfers, this rocky reef offers ideal conditions with waves of 2 to 3 meters, perfect for high-level surfing.
“This event is crucial for European and African qualifications. Surfers can’t wait to hit this legendary wave,” said Rob Gunning, WSL Europe Tour Manager.
The competition will be hosted by 2023 winner Kauli Vaast (FRA), alongside Keoni Lasa (EUK), Afonso Antunes (POR) and hopefuls Tya Zebrowski (FRA), Annette Gonzalez Etxabarri (EUK) and Noah Klapp (GER).
The meeting will take place at Anchor Point in Taghazout Bay. Results, photos and highlights will be followed on worldsurfleague.com.
