Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says he will “never decide when to leave this club” after recent speculation that he will leave at the end of the season.
Ancelotti, 65, won two La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies with Real in two seasons with the Spanish giants and is under contract until 2026.
It was reported this week in Spain that he would leave this summer with former Real midfielder Xabi Alonso replacing him.

But ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against RB Salzburg, Ancelotti said: “I I want to make it very clear: I will never decide when to leave this club, never in my life.
“One day this moment will come, but I don’t know when it will be. I don’t decide. It could be tomorrowin a few games, a year, five years…
“(President) Florentino Perez will stay here for four more years and my goal is to reach Florentino’s four years. And so we can say goodbye together.
“I feel very loved in every way: fans, club, media level. Everything.”
Defending champions Real have had problems in the new Champions League format and are in 20th place with two games to go. Only the top eight will qualify directly, meaning Real will likely face a two-game play-off round next month.
“There are not many options but the only option is to win the two remaining games,” Ancelotti added.
“If we have to play in the round of 32, we will do it 100%. Considering the schedule will be even more demanding, we are used to it.”
