About two decades later Jim Jones still raving about his sweetheart, Chrissy Lampkin. Over the years the couple has been at the Center of marriage debatesgiven his hesitation and her desire to get married. While they haven’t married yet, he recently shared a precious moment: their first meeting.

Jim Jones remembers the first time Chrissy approached him
Jim shared the relapse story while chatting on the “90sBabyShow” recently. The Harlem-raised rapper shared that Chrissy Lampkin is also from the area.
“I had a crush on Chrissy… Chrissy is probably one of the nimblest, baddest, craziest girls in Harlem,” Jim said.
The first time he saw Lampkin was at a historic location in Harlem called Mart 125, which was originally called the Harlem Flea Market. In 2023 This was reported by the Harlem World Magazine that Mart 125 was open between 1986 and 2002. The space served as an indoor market near the Apollo Theater. Jones said he was at the scene with Mase. Chrissy had a short haircut back then.
In 2004, Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin met at a beach club in Miami. He claims she “ran at him and said some funny shit to him.”
“I thought, Wow, this is crazy. In my head I was like, “Wow, I’m nervous.” Like I was trying to find my cool. At the moment, I felt like all my cool was lost and I felt like I was the coolest person in the world,” Jim shared with a flash of a smile.
At this point, the host pointed out that Lampkin still had that effect on Jones due to his blushing. Meanwhile, Chrissy has yet to publicly respond to the interview clip circulating.

Jim had previously denied rumors about marrying another woman
In early November, rumors surfaced online that Jim Jones had married “Basketball Wives” star Brooke Bailey. At the time, he ended the speculation by posting a video of himself holding a bottle of water and saying the world needed more. Seconds later, Chrissy Lampkin chimed in from the background. She said: “I just drink my water and mind my business.”

A few days later, Brooke Bailey explicitly denied any romantic involvement, particularly marriage, with Jim Jones.
