According to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM), the dirham appreciated by 0.1% against the euro and remained almost stable against the US dollar in the period from January 9 to 15. No auctions were held on the foreign exchange market during this period, BAM states in its weekly bulletin. According to the central bank, official foreign reserves stood at DH367.8 billion as of Jan. 10, down 1.4% week-to-week and up 3.2% year-on-year.
