Morocco was chosen as the headquarters of the CAF’s African Clubs Association
The African Clubs Association announced on Friday that Morocco had been chosen as the official headquarters, beating out competing bids from Algeria and other African countries.
The decision came after an extensive review process, with the Moroccan proposal characterized by superior organizational standards and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
An official memorandum of understanding will be signed on January 27 during the draw ceremony for the Africa Cup of Nations, which Morocco is hosting.
The establishment of the federation’s headquarters in Morocco represents a pivotal moment for African football, aimed at fostering collaboration between clubs across the continent and advancing the sport’s infrastructure and governance.
