Azilal: 100 million DH for the future “Dino Parc”

An amount of DH100 million will be used to create a dinosaur-themed theme park. This project, for which the call for expressions of interest was launched by the Moroccan Society for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) in collaboration with the local authorities of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, will cover 5 hectares.

“Dino Parc” is part of the projects planned in the tourism roadmap for 2026, emphasizes the regional development company Atlas de Tourisme in Béni Mellal-Khénifra.

The call for expressions of interest aims to select an investor responsible for the development of a dinosaur-themed theme park in Azilal province, according to the SDR, which emphasizes that the park will feature full-size reconstructions of dinosaurs and highlight their advantages will feature the animated tours around the city of Azilal as well as the museum recently opened to the public.

This project, which also aims to promote the UNESCO label of the M’goun Geopark, will be structured around three main zones: the Atlas Village, which will serve as a reception point, and the tangible and intangible heritage of the region through products related to highlights agritourism and handicrafts, the Valley of the Dinosaurs, which offers an interactive tour where visitors can discover reconstructions of dinosaurs, and the Dino-Parc, an area that offers: A variety entertaining and relaxing activities on innovative and exciting topics.
