Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 are on sale for the first time this year

Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 earbuds are on sale $180 via Amazon. This is the first serious discount of the year and represents a saving of 28 percent. It’s not a record low, but it’s pretty darn close.

The AirPods Pro 2 earbuds have made a real name for themselves since their launch in 2022. They easily made it onto our list best wireless earbudsand for good reason. These are a significant improvement over the previous version in almost every way. The sound quality is fantastic and the earbuds now have active noise cancellation.

In our official review we have heaped The transparency mode deserves special praise. It sounds so natural, especially compared to some competing earbuds on the market. You can leave the AirPods in during a real conversation without realizing you’re wearing them. Other features include ultra-fast pairing with Apple devices, hands-free Siri, and spatial audio.

Also a current software update brought a reduction in wireless audio latencywhich should be great for mobile gaming. Another blessing for gamers? Thanks to 16-bit audio at 48 kHz during live chats, voice quality has improved.

The biggest problem with these earbuds is the price, which has dropped slightly due to today’s sale. One small point of criticism: The touch gestures require a little practice to get right, but it’s not rocket science.
