Travel destinations 2025: TripAdvisor favors Morocco

The specialist website TripAdvisor has published the best travel destinations worldwide for this year. Morocco is once again one of the “must” travel destinations for tourists. In fact, the city of Marrakesh ranks 8th among the top tourist destinations in the world. It ranks after London (1st), Bali, Dubai, Sicily, Paris, Rome and Hanoi, but ahead of Crete and Bangkok. The ocher city also ranks 3rd among gastronomic destinations behind Rome and London, while among cultural cities to visit it comes 4th after Bali, Hanoi and London.

For its part, Casablanca cannot be beaten. The metropolis takes 10th place in the “Trend Destinations 2025” category. This ranking is dominated by Osaka, followed by Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires, Manama, Lima, Medellin, Auckland, Kyoto and Seoul.

Morocco thus confirms its position as a first-class travel destination. According to the Ministry of Tourism, the kingdom reached a new record last year with 17.4 million registered visitors.
