The Reacher Season 3 trailer introduces the best villain in the entire series

Let’s call it the Clash of the Titans. The first two seasons of Prime Video’s hit streaming series Reacher pitted Alan Ritchson’s titular character against some of the worst scum imaginable – and all of them ended up regretting giving the walking, talking tank over ran away. However, more of the same simply wouldn’t be enough for the upcoming third season. It’s long past time to level up the enemies, and our vigilante hero may have finally met his match.

Season 3 of Reacher is finally upon us and with it comes a massive amount of muscle that somehow makes it Ritchson, the star of “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” and many otherslook absolutely tiny. Based on the seventh volume of author Lee Child’s incredibly popular novel series entitled Persuader, this next installment promises to be bigger and badder than ever before. That’s possible thanks to the addition of actor Olivier Richters as new evil henchman Paulie, a giant of a man who hits hard and has an even worse temper. Today, Amazon released a great new trailer that gives fans an in-depth look at Reacher’s latest adventure… and guys, it looks like a doozy.

Reacher takes on Bigger Reacher – that’s it, that’s the premise. Honestly, with ideas that are so brilliantly simple, It’s no wonder the Prime Video series has become such a ratings powerhouse And I mean that without any frills. Sometimes we write about shows like Yellowstone and its empire of spin-offs, leaving us scratching our heads as to why they’ve become as popular as they are. (I don’t want to speak for anyone else, but I’ve never met anyone in the wild who actually watches these shows.) In other cases, the appeal is right there on the surface, visible to everyone. “Reacher” falls more into the latter category.

Season 3 arrives just over a year after the well-received second season (as you can see from /Film’s positive review at the time here), but with the promise to raise the stakes significantly this time. We’ve known for some time that Season 3 would adapt arguably the best Jack Reacher bookalthough nothing could have prepared us for the carnage seen in this new trailer. Arm wrestling competitions, dry one-liners and lots of explosions await viewers who have now become truly addicted to this series. Amazon, for its part, simply describes the new season as: “Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held captive by a haunting enemy from his past,” in a brevity that our often reticent title character would fully approve of .

Reacher comes from lead creative developer and showrunner Nick Santora and stars Ritchson as Reacher, along with Maria Sten as Reacher’s best friend Frances Neagley (who herself will also be the focus of a planned spin-off series), Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy and Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck, Brian Tee as Quinn, Olivier Ritchers as Paulie and more. The new season premieres on Prime Video on February 20, 2025.
