Moroccan defender Yahia Attiyat Allah has been hospitalized after sustaining an injury in an Egyptian league match
Morocco international Yahia Attiyat Allah, who currently plays for Al Ahly SC, was taken to a hospital in Cairo after suffering a head injury during his team’s match against Smouha in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The injury occurred in the 29th minute of the first half after a collision with a Smouha player. Although Attiyat Allah left the field on his feet, Al Ahly’s medical team deemed it necessary to take him to hospital for further examination.
Dr. Al Ahly team doctor Ahmed Gaballah told Egypt Youm7 According to the news agency, the defender suffered a cut on his eyebrow and a bruise on his face.
“Additional medical assessments are required to determine the severity of the injury and estimate how long he will be sidelined,” Gaballah added.
Yahia Attiyat Allah joined Al Ahly on loan from Russian club Sochi, with the Egyptian side having the option to buy his contract permanently. His injury is a concern for both his club and fans as he has become a key figure in the team’s defense.
