15 Best Wireless Earbuds, Tested and Reviewed (2025)

New earbuds with longer battery life and more compact designs seem to come out every month. Therefore, we cannot list everything we like. But if you’re still on the hunt, here are some more recommendations.

Soundcore Space A40 for $60: Although they’re no longer on our main list, the Space A40s are still some of my favorite headphones for the money, offering good features, clear sound, and excellent noise cancellation for their price range. They also look elegant, only the lack of auto-pause sensors gives away their low price.

Sony Linkbuds Fit for $200: Sony’s Linkbuds Fit offer rich and punchy sound, a natural transparency mode, and a lightweight and comfortable fit, helping them live up to their claim as a wear-anywhere solution. They offer some solid features, but save on battery life at just 5.5 hours per charge, and their noise cancellation is perfectly fine. Their reliance on thin silicone cases and strangely unresponsive touch controls further diminishes their value, but they’re still Sony buds and might be worth picking up on sale.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for $100-$200: The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are getting older, but they’re still some of the best buds to pair with Samsung cell phone. They don’t have the multi-device connectivity of our top pick for Android users and their five-hour battery seems pretty short these days, but they offer great sound quality, IPX7 waterproofing and a distinctive design that not only that does monkey the AirPods Pro. That’s why they’re definitely worth considering when selling.

Pixel Buds A-Series for $99: These used to be our first choice for most people, but now they’re being overshadowed by other affordable options that also include things like noise cancellation. If you find a pair on sale, they’re still worth snapping up, especially if you have an Android phone.

Oneplus Nord Buds 3 Pro for $150: These comfortable, lightweight earbuds feature multipoint pairing, making them ideal for people who like to work on a laptop and a cell phone at the same time (7/10, WIRED recommends). We didn’t like the layout of the controls and found the noise cancellation to be perfectly fine. Plus, design-wise, it’s just another pair of AirPods clones.

Soundpeats Air4 for $80: Soundpeats’ Air4 (7/10, WIRED recommends) may be obvious knockoffs of the AirPods Pro, but for the money they are very good knockoffs. You don’t get top-notch performance, let alone exclusive Apple offerings like Find My support or iCloud sharing, but you do get good sound and features, including decent noise cancellation, at a massive discount. Even though these aren’t your first choice, they’re a great budget buy, especially on sale.

Montblanc MTB 03 for $395: The price of these earbuds is prohibitive for most buyers, but if you have the cash, you’ll be rewarded with a luxury experience worthy of the brand. Montblanc commissioned some heavyweights from the audio industry to develop and tune these headphones. The result is a small, comfortable and quite striking looking pair of wireless earbuds that sound really impressive.

Apple/Beats Powerbeats Pro for $180: Apple’s beefy Powerbeats Pro (8/10, WIRED recommends) offer a super secure fit, sound far better than Apple’s standard AirPods or Beats pairs before it, and offer an impressive nine hours of life per charge. They’re showing their age and miss out on now-standard extras like transparency mode and ANC, but might still be worth considering for those who want a really sturdy seat.

Raycon Everyday Earbuds for $80: These YouTuber-loved earbuds are actually a pretty affordable pair (7/10, WIRED review). They are small and lightweight and have an IPX6 rating, making them great for training.

Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport for $254: The Sport models are a great option with active noise cancellation and eye-catching design, but the high price puts them out of reach for most people.
