After sharing the negatives of 2024, Paul decided to reflect on some of the “highlights.”

“I did everything negative, so let’s move on to the positive,” she said in her interview TikTok Video. “Whoever comes first is my beautiful baby boy who was born. I know a lot of people think, well, you had your baby, it should have been the best year. For many mothers, the postpartum period is usually their worst year, and that’s true for everyone. “I just had a very different experience of the mother going through a lot of hormonal changes and depression, and it’s more about mental health.”

She continued to talk about her son, saying he has been “such a blessing” in her life, before moving on to another “huge accomplishment” starting in 2024.

“Another big hit was our show on Hulu,” she continued. “Has achieved one of the highest rated shows this year. Oh, this will do just fine, but the fact that it went to number one on Hulu on its first day, what on earth, what’s the point? It was stunning.”

It wasn’t long after the reality show’s release on Hulu that it was picked up for a second season “with about 20 episodes.”

“So when I say our lives changed quite a bit overnight due to travel reasons, it was: Your car will be there at this time, you’ll be picked up, your hotel is booked, your driver will be there,” she continued . “Another lifestyle I had, what is it?”

She also spoke about presenting at the CMAs, which she called a “dream come true.” Another highlight for Paul was meeting her therapist, who she said will be the one to “save” her.

Taylor Frankie Paul also shared a GRWM video about the “worst” parts of 2024

A few days before her video highlighting some positive aspects of the past year, Paul shared a video in which she talks about the “worst” parts of her year.

“I want to say it was even worse than my 2022, which says a lot,” she said. “Still, I find it difficult to decipher which one it was. And I only say that because it also presented me with amazing opportunities.”

She said she won’t “go into detail about why this has been one of the worst years” because viewers will see “everything unravels here next year.”

“It’s been a year of clarifying a lot about all the things that needed to happen for change to actually happen,” she continued. “And I’m actually not the type to blame other people for my life. I am self-aware and know what my role was and what I could have done differently. What can I learn from this experience?”

Paul continued in their video, sharing that there were both “good things” and “really difficult things” in 2024.

“For example, at the beginning of this year I was so distant. We see it on the show, I’m not there. I can’t even watch the show because it’s so hard to watch,” she shared. “And then I wanted to finally start feeling again, so you have to start feeling a lot of pain and letting things in.”

She said 2022 was “lived,” 2023 was “lost,” and in 2024 she “let the pain in.” She said she let go of the pain all at once, which left her “on the bathroom floor, screaming, crying on phone calls and in intense therapy.”

“I prayed to God and said you have to help me. And please remember, this isn’t about me complaining about life problems. This is all about mental health,” she continued. “And it doesn’t matter what external things you have in life, because it will never make you happy if you are not happy inside.”
