Brad Pitt’s alleged reason for settling with Angelina Jolie
According to the Daily MailA source familiar with the situation revealed why Pitt decided to settle his contentious divorce dispute with his ex-wife.
The insider told the news outlet that the 61-year-old actor was “relieved” about the breakup after being exhausted because he believed Jolie was “procrastinating” on the divorce.
They added that his intention to tie the knot with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon in 2025 was the reason why he decided to divorce.
“They plan to get married next year and Brad has come to terms with that because he wants to keep his children by his side to help his new marriage happen,” the insider shared. “Apparently Ines also wants to have children and has put pressure on him to sort everything out as quickly as possible.”
The duo are still fighting over their French winery
Although their divorce has been resolved, the former couple are still arguing over the winery they once owned together.
According to a source close to Pitt, the duo “purchased Miraval with the intention of keeping it 100 percent in the family.”
The source added: “They wanted to pass this on to their children so they could one day run the company and it would provide a lucrative and stable future for all of them.”
However, in 2022, Jolie changed her plans and sold her share, which Pitt said violated an oral agreement that neither would sell their shares without the other’s consent.
Now the former couple may face trial in the case later this year after Supreme Court Justice Lia Martin recently rejected Jolie’s latest motion to dismiss.

Sources claim the dispute outside the winery is becoming more complicated
As the case continues, many sources indicate that the situation will likely become even more complicated for the former couple.
“It’s already been ugly, but it’s about to get uglier as Angie is out to get revenge on Brad and continue trying to settle more old personal scores,” an insider said Daily Mail.
Another source criticized Jolie for mixing personal issues with the litigation rather than limiting it to business matters.
“This is a straightforward business dispute, but unfortunately the other side has repeatedly introduced personal elements that have exposed the weaknesses in their case and complicated and prolonged the process,” the source said.
