Eddie Howe praised Newcastle for his 4: 3 victory against Nottingham Forest, but asked his team to better manage the games in the future.
In a rampant display in the first half, the toon race with four goals was brought into the lead in 13 minutes, but could not take the intensity of the first half when they held a comeback from the visitors in a nervous second period.
The goals of Nikola Milenkovic and Ryan Yates for Forest had reduced what looked like an unassailable lead, and made it much more unpleasant to the game than should have been.
And while Howe was pleased to achieve an important victory that she reaches fourth with Manchester City, he said that his team had to make sure that they improve things.
He said to Sky Sports: “Great to win. You have to remember that in the end. Crazy game, but that’s why we love it, I assume.
“Two sides from us. The first half was excellent. A great answer to the shutdown. The second half was really as bad. We had trouble getting a grip on the swing when it turned against us.
“In the best case, we are freely fluid, an attacking team, Dynamic. You saw the best of us in the first half. “
But Howe adds on her lackluster display after the break: “My brain goes into the second half. We weren’t perfect. When defending set plays and crossing into the box, we were usually pretty good over the years. I will say on a schnapp reaction.
“A really good performance by Lewis (Miley). He ended his goal really well. He can be very happy, he developed very well.
“It is a feeling that we have to remember. It feels like we have lost the game, but we won the game and received points about Nottingham Forest. “
“Crazy game, but that’s why we love it!”

Nuno is satisfied with forest reaction
The opposing manager Nuno Espirito Santo decided to remain positive in four games of the Premier League despite her third defeat, and says that her fight in the second half can prove to be positive before run-in because she is at her spot want to capture your Champions League spot.
He told the BBC: “Newcastle was better in the first half. Second half, we better. And the goals have proven. There is no explanation (for the first half) that we have to wait.
“It was a big gap to try to relax. The reaction was very good. We gave everything and created many opportunities against Newcastle and believed that we could win the game.
“The reaction was good, I think the team was rather recognizable. We played well and were positive in the future. I liked that the most.
“I wish it was 10 minutes (added) to compensate. We were in a good moment. “
