Zahra Legris, a psychiatric worker in the Gaza Strip, talks about helping people traumatized by war
A psychiatric worker who provides psychological first aid in the south of the Gaza Strip spoke to FRANCE 24 from there about the horrors of the events in the region and how she and her colleagues are trying to help. Zahra Legris is Mental Health Activity Manager for Médecins Sans Frontières or Doctors Without Borders around Khan Younis. She speaks every day with people, often children, who have been deeply traumatized by the war. Many suffer from grief, displacement and the destruction of their quality of life.
