Molineux endured a dramatic finale as Wolves secured a 2-0 win over Manchester United thanks to two late goals.
Matheus Cunha orchestrated the victory, scoring one goal and assisting another as Wolves moved further away from the relegation zone.
The first half was a hard-fought affair, with Cunha posing a constant threat to Wolves and his skill and movement often causing problems for the United back line.
In the 17th minute he forced a save from Onana after a successful move.
United responded with a curling effort from Dalot, which was saved by Jose Sa in the 20th minute.
Wolves continued to press and Jorgen Strand Larsen’s header forced Onana into another save in the 25th minute. Guedes then shot just over the goal from distance in the 23rd minute.
The second half began with Bruno Fernandes receiving a red card in the 47th minute for a late foul on Nelson Semedo.

This reduced Manchester United to ten men and significantly shifted the momentum in Wolves’ favor.
Almost immediately Wolves thought they had taken the lead when Strand Larsen finished from close range, but the goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review. .
The breakthrough finally came in a spectacular way in the 58th minute. Cunha’s corner eluded everyone, including Onana, and ended up in the back corner of the net.
The Manchester United goalkeeper’s protests about a foul were dismissed and Wolves deservedly took a 1-0 lead. Cunha’s goal was his third Premier League goal in a row.
Manchester United tried to respond and made a number of substitutions to give their attack a new lease of life.
However, Wolves remained resolute in defense and continued to pose a threat on the counter-attack.
In the 69th minute, Strand Larsen had Goncalo Guedes available in the middle, but his pass was intercepted by Onana. In the 71st minute, Antony shot just wide for United.
As time expired, Manchester United pushed forward in search of an equalizer, leaving gaps in defense.
But in the final moments of injury time, Wolves sealed victory with a quick counter-attack. Cunha was released behind the United defense and unselfishly passed the ball to Hwang Hee-Chan, who calmly pushed the ball past Onana into the top corner.
