The Russian health authorities have suspended the export of a load of wheat from the Tcheliabinsk region due to the recognition of parasites, reports Agrimaroc.
Although these parasites in Russia do not need quarantine, they are subject to restrictions in several import countries, including Morocco. This lot was intended in Morocco, one of the ten main importers of Russian wheat.
For the 2024-2025 agricultural season, Russia plans to deliver around 1 million tons of wheat in Morocco in order to increase these volume to 1.5 million tons, according to the same source.
