Pixar fans can look forward to an emotional February on Disney+. The eight-part miniseries Win or lose, Opening February 19, the film tells the stories of eight interconnected characters as they prepare for a softball championship game.
In the first two episodes, Laurie (voiced by Rosie Foss), a 12-year-old player struggling with insecurity, and Frank (voiced by Josh Thompson), a teacher and league referee, struggle with their unique emotions. Additional episodes will premiere on subsequent Wednesdays.
Also on the program is the premiere of Harlem Ice Cream (February 12), a five-part documentary about the Girls of Figure Skating in Harlem (FSH), and The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl (February 7th), a rousing concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of the classic film.
Finally there are 12 new episodes of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place (February 28), the 2000s comedy spinoff premiered in Octoberand additional installments of Marvel Animation is your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man Wednesdays through February 19th.
