Samsung is the 800-pound gorilla of CES, a global electronics giant that makes mobile devices, televisions, home theater products, and kitchen appliances — just to name a few. Traditionally, CES is used to remind the world that it is a major competitor in all of these areas, while also providing a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge technology.
In 2024, for example, Samsung’s CES press conference covered all the usual iterative updates – new televisions, new projectors, new soundbars – but also offered some truly futuristic first glimpses of the products. And while we won’t see that transparent MicroLED screens You’ll be able to purchase this soon at your local Best Buy Music Frame speakers that was first shown at CES 2024. But it is that Ball robota two-time CES veteran that we most hope makes an appearance again – this time ideally with a real release date.
What to Expect at the Samsung CES 2025 Press Conference
Or maybe Ballie will be more autonomous this time. That would better fit the theme “AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere” that the company announced for its Las Vegas presentation. The Korea-based giant has already been posting early CES announcements in its for several weeks Online newsroompromotes AI-powered refrigerators and devices with integrated screens. But there is also non-AI stuff: Samsung has a 27-inch QD OLED gaming monitorand the company is working with Google (!) to deliver Eclipsa, a new 3D audio technology that is apparently intended to be an alternative to Dolby Atmos and DTS.
However, there is one thing you shouldn’t expect in Vegas: the alleged Galaxy S25 smartphone series. If it follows its current schedule, Samsung will likely schedule the unveiling for the second half of January, when the company itself will be in the tech news spotlight. (Last year it was an event on January 17th, announced on January 11th.)
