Walmart Stechen suspect is charged with the mass attack in the Michigan Store terrorism

A 42-year-old man is charged with terrorism and attacks for murder after 11 buyers were stabbed into a Walmart supermarket in the US state of Michigan.

On Saturday afternoon, an attacker used a folding knife in Traverse City to pierce five men and six women, including a Walmart employee.

It is expected that the victims aged 21 to 84. The suspicious Bradford James Gille is to be charged on Monday or Tuesday.

The investigators said that the stitches were random and they still have to reveal a motif, but they said that a terrorist accusation was justified because such a mass attack for fear and destruction should bring in the entire community.

The sheriff of Grand Traverse County, Sheriff Michael Shea, spoke to reporters on Sunday and said the officers arrived in the shop two minutes after the first call.

“At the time of the arrival of the deputy, several citizens, including one who was armed with a pistol, confronted the male suspect in the parking lot and prevented him from further damage and went,” he said. “The representative took the suspect in custody without further incident.”

He added that the suspect’s motif was “not yet defined”.

“Our detectives interviewed him in detail with the support of the FBI, and that will be part of the investigation when it progresses,” he added.

Joe Pennington, a Walmart spokesman, said: “Such violence is unacceptable.

“Our thoughts are with those who were injured and we are grateful for the quick action of first aid.”

Dan Bongino, deputy director of FBI, said on Saturday that the federal personnel reacted the necessary support for the local authorities.

The governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, said: “Our thoughts are with the victims and the community that is withdrawn from this brutal act of violence.”

Traverse City is about 410 km northwest of Detroit.
