We have had hot weather lately until the 90s (low 30s C). But at least since the days get shorter, it cools down nicely at night. I look forward to it soon falls and hope that the weather is.
My riding was pleasant because it is cool in the morning. Last Tuesday, my group rode to the end of the Redwood Road Road west of Morgan Hill, about 2 1/2 hours on mine. It was a great journey, but my neck was stiff in the end. I am susceptible to neck problems that I try to minimize a conventional bicycle by staying upright and often getting up to the pedal. I did this, but I still had a problem, the neck annoyed me longer than a day later. I think I will stick to my lying food on longer trips, including my group trips. As long as the trip takes an hour or less, I do it.
Wednesday I had relatively short (90 minutes), but still challenged to challenge hard ride with my lying one, which felt great. I particularly enjoyed a long brisk cruise on the Coyote Creek Trail on Friday.
