A climbing trip became fatal to a national park after the authorities claimed that a fall led to his death.
Officials of the National Park Service confirmed that the 42 -year -old Brian Astle from Provo, UT, fell during a steep descent. Off-trail climbing route From the west side of Mount Gould in the Glacier National Park on Wednesday.
The accident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on July 9, when the Glacier National Park Dispatch received a report about a person who had fallen from Mount Gould over the Highline Trail.
Park Rangers worked with air and rescue teams to find Astle. However, the operation was postponed overnight to ensure that Astle’s body could be safely restored.

The next morning, the Park Rangers Astle’s body found it and transported him to a nearby horse corrral, until he could be moved to the forensic doctor’s office.
Officials said an investigation had not yet been completed and there is currently no additional information.

The officials said “Marcuccio separated from his party to the Summit McPartland Peak and planned to surrender in a certain place”, but “the forest runners from the hiking party became aware that Marcuccio never made it to the rendezvous.”

The Glacier National Park is known for its “beautiful glacier lakes, waterfalls, valleys and Alpine Wiesen”, Fox Weather Reports, but can also “change quickly and experience extreme weather”.
“Be aware that mountain weather is unpredictable; always be prepared for a variety of conditions,” says the park’s website.
