Urban policy: Four conventions signed for Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima
The Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region will have a budget of DH581 million, including DH317 million mobilized by the Ministry of National Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Politics. Minister Fatim Zahra El Mansouri, who is visiting the region, has just made relevant arrangements.

In particular, the agreements will allow “to strengthen the contractual and partnership mechanism with the various local actors and stakeholders, while mobilizing the necessary resources to achieve sustainable social development and a better living environment for the population”; she remarked.
The 1st regional framework agreement concerns the modernization of the centers of rural communities in the region for the period 2025-2027, with a total cost of 420 million DH, of which 210 million DH will be mobilized equally by the Ministry and the Regional Council. El Mansouri also concluded a specific financing agreement for 26 rural centers, entering the first phase of operationalizing the regional framework agreement.
The company also signed a financing agreement for the CREM Zoumi integrated development program in Ouezzane province, a pilot project in the region. The aim of this agreement is to finance works to strengthen infrastructure, urban modernization and rehabilitation of seven under-equipped districts, the rehabilitation of local markets and the creation of socio-cultural and roadside rest areas.
In Martil, the initialed agreement concerns the financing of additional urban qualification works in inadequately equipped neighborhoods in the cities of Martil, M’diq, Fnideq and in the centers of the municipalities of Allyene and Belyounech. These works concern neighborhood streets, public lighting and the development of public squares and local properties.
