Rabat – Tangier’s civil protection teams are still looking for a young man who was missing after jumping into the sea during a dangerous Tikok challenge. The incident occurred on Saturday evening in Merkala Beach.

Snrt News said a source from civil protection that rescue teams were looking for three days but did not find traces of the young man.

The victim, known on Tiktok As a “Moul Lerran”, he made a challenge in which he set on fire before jumping into the sea to bring the flames out. But he couldn’t swim due to the strong waves.

The TikToker was known to publish videos of dangerous challenges on the platform.

Snrt News said a source of security that the young man was with his brother and a friend who made the video. They were the ones who had reported the accident. Since then, they have imprisoned the authorities for survey.

The incident has sparked the debate about the dangers of social media challenges, especially for young people.
