In the cultural area, this alliance will bring the Arabesque Festival closer and the festival of the Holy Music of Fez, while this twin aspect in particular aims to improve twinning to improve the oldest library in the world that have Fès and its medina.
This twinning also affects tourism with the aim of developing air connections between the two cities. It affects the aspect of the university by promoting the exchange between researchers and students, especially between Polytech and the Department of Engineers at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (USMBA). The economy must not be exceeded with the ambition to work together in the areas of renewable energies and cultural/ creative industries.
“Montpellier is a living bridge between France and Morocco, which is carried by a dynamic, creative and committed diaspora in all areas. Many Moroccan university officials have been trained in Montpellier and have become natural and mighty ambassadors of our city today.”Delafosse is happy.
