US President Donald Trump described one day after the conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “very good” one-hour call with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
Afterwards Zelensky said that he believed that “permanent peace can be achieved this year” under Trump’s leadership.
The White House of Ukraine’s White House may also have been discussed, according to the White House, although Zelensky later explained that this was only about the Russian Zaporizhzhia facility.
