(Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Netflix (NASDAQ:) co-CEO Ted Sarandos at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, CNN reporter Alayna Treene said on Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to researcher OpenSecrets, Sarandos has traditionally supported Democratic Party candidates and made donations in support of President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Netflix and Sarandos did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
Since Trump’s election victory in November, several business leaders have tried to build a positive relationship with him.
Trump said last week that he plans to meet with Amazon.com (NASDAQ:) founder Jeff Bezos this week.
