An agreement from 1947 with commitments as hosts of the United Nations enables employees and their family members relatively unrestricted access to the USA
In a time of increasing fears of national security and immigration by the Trump administration, experts require a review of the economy nation with the eye on functional immunity, the UN employees and the limited review of those with UN visa.

Gallo claimed that there is one Epidemy of sexual crimes and misconduct among the UN employees. He quoted an incident in which an UN employee outside the USA “sexually harassed a young woman in his department”. Gallo said it took two years after the investigation report was received until an investigation was completed, which led to the downgrading of the insulting employee. Gallo said the employee who was molested and her bothered remained in the same organization.
Gallo said that if employees in the UN headquarters take part in misconduct, the US government should be able to examine cases and determine whether the employees should keep their GVisa.
Dugan said if UN employees “knew that (immunity) could be lifted at any time … they could behave much differently”.

In response to questions as to whether the UN employees were accused of sexual misconduct in the United States or whether the UN employees who have operated the misconduct were revoked by their G -VISA, a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said that the department “generally does not provide any cancellation statistics”. They also said that “all visa applicants, regardless of Visa and where they are, are continuously checked. Safety check runs from the time of each application by deciding the visa and then during the validity period of each exhibited visa to ensure that the individual in the United States is entitled.”
The spokesman said that officials from the United Nations “are expected to respect the applicable laws of the United States, including criminal laws. They added that this applies “to those who also have diplomatic immunity for their positions”.
