Harvard previously said that it took many steps to tackle anti -Semitism and that the demands were an effort to regulate the “intellectual conditions” of the university.
“The university will not hand over its independence or not give up its constitutional rights,” Harvard President Alan Garber wrote to the Harvard community on Monday.

The administration’s attacks on Harvard are not isolated. The government’s anti -Semitism -sk Force has identified at least 60 universities for review.
