Doha – The upper house of the Moroccan Parliament has now completed its autumn session with the approval of 32 legislative texts, including a pioneering organic law that rules the right to strike, according to the President of the House of Council, Mohamed Ould Errachid.

The legislative company focused on topics that affect citizens in economic, financial, agricultural, industrial and social sectors. The territorial organization, urban rehabilitation and the acceleration of the implementation of the advanced regionalization became decisive.
Two thematic working groups were set up during the session. The first will prepare for the annual discussion about public guidelines in connection with investments and employment, while the second will create a report on the territorial integrity of Morocco.
The chamber strengthened cooperation with several constitutional institutions, including the Court of Justice, the Economic, Social and Environmental Council and the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication.
In the diplomatic front, the chamber expanded bilateral relationships with parlamasations of the partner countries and improved their participation in parliamentary bodies AfricaThe Arab world, Latin America and the euro Mediterranean region.
Legislative success included the ratification of international conventions that aimed at strengthening the bilateral and multilateral relationships of Morocco and strengthening its international position.
The chamber kept its supervisory role through oral and written questions and monthly meetings that are devoted to the inquiries of public order. These meetings dealt with the concerns of the citizens regarding urban development and the regional implementation programs.
With regard to the future, the chamber plans to intensify its efforts based on its strategic plan, with a special focus on parliamentary diplomacy and Territorial integrity Affairs.
