U.N. investigators who have been collecting evidence of the regime’s crimes for years say Assad’s fall offers a crucial opportunity to gather first-hand evidence. She says the Assad regime’s atrocities have been well documented since the war began in 2011 and there is ample evidence against the perpetrators.
