Rabat – The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) continues its tour through the country’s regions to increase tourism. After several regions, the OnMT delegation has now entered the DRAA factory, in particular Ouarzazat, to emphasize the region’s important tourism potential.
The main goal of it tour is to strengthen the connections to tourism operators in the region, which are represented by the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) from DRAA-AFFILALET together with the local authorities. In an explanation, ONMT said that it hopes to understand the needs and challenges of the local tourism industry by dealing with local tourism actors.
This visit plays an important role in the design of a regional tourism strategy and the implementation of measures to promote the region. “The Dr.a Tafilalet region is a great capital for Moroccan tourism and appeals for visitors who are looking for cultural discoveries, as well as for cinema professionals that have been drawn by their spectacular landscapes,” said the statement.
One main goal of this tour is to improve the visibility of each region in the global tourism industry. Onmt aims to position DRAA-AFFILALET as the top goal by introducing his unique attractions and forming partnerships with international tour operators, booking platforms and airlines to increase direct flights.
These efforts are part of a wider plan for the development of tailor -made strategies for tourism funding for every Moroccan region. Onmt said that it is trying to diversify the tourism offer in Morocco and to live up to a wide range of international visitors.
According to Ouarzazate, the regional tour of the ONMT will continue in FEZ this week, followed by the oriental region, Dakhla, Beni Mellal and Tangier in the coming weeks.
