…So I dodged raindrops or took sneak trips between storms. There will be more next week which will bring us close to our normal annual rainfall, which is great. Due to the rain, I did shorter rides this week, but I made sure to make my intervals more intense and do my strength training, which is good for maintaining fitness.
Next week I will visit my brother in Phoenix and walk and hike, but not ride my bike. A little bit of fitness will have been lost over these two easy weeks, then I’ll go back to my normal schedule. If I post from Phoenix it will be short because I don’t have a computer and I’m not good at typing on the phone. I’ll be back next Friday.
The first rainy ride of many, on the roads near home, not too difficult yet.The youngest RainstormsIn our area it is rarely cold enough to snow. The view is looking northeast towards Mount Hamilton. That means the snow line is below 4,000 feet (1,200 meters), so there will be a lot of snow in the Sierras. Good for skiing and water supply.
