Rabat – The police in Nador threw a big attempt yesterday to distribute non -licensed alcoholic beverages and confiscated 18,570 bottles in a targeted operation.

The anti-gang unit of the regional judicial police attacked a secret warehouse in the rural area of Selouane on Saturday, March 15th.

The facility hidden on the outskirts of Nador stored a large stock of alcohol that was intended for illegal sale.

The officials confiscated the entire program of bottles of various brands and sizes.

The investigation is continued under the supervision of the public prosecutor in order to identify the parties involved, with the authorities prioritizing the invitation of the warehouse owner.

The Moroccan authorities have intensified the efforts to combat illegal trade in alcohol and other smuggling cars and initiated nationwide operations on the breakdown of networks for smuggling and non -authorized distribution.
