It was almost two years ago that “The Mandalorian” delivered the third season adventure of the masked bounty Hunter and his delightful, sensitive companion, known as Grogu. Unfortunately we wait longer since the excursion of the large screen “The Mandalorian and Grogu” will only come to cinemas in May 2026. This means that we have to imagine the Gunslinger dressed by Bekar and the Darksbober hero could do it. Fortunately, Hasbro helps to fill the time with an action figure that fans have been waiting for since the third season of “The Mandalorian”.
Today Hasbro announced two new additions to the Black Series Line of Action Figures. First and foremost we finally get the version of Moff Gideon in his mandalorian dark trooper-mash-up gangCompletely with this threatening helmet on which Darth Maul could have been jealous. But that’s not all. In order to keep Moff Gideon protected, we also receive a new version of the Praetorian guard, the red -annoyed warriors who debuted for the first time in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.

Moff Gideon in Dark Trooper armor is ready for the fight
Moff Gideon went and transformed into the next generation of the dark soldier and borrowed some elements that his mandalorian friends form, with a small horny note at the top. Although it is a prototype suit, Gideon makes it particularly fatal, especially when he is armed with his electrified staff. Yes, the helmet is removable and reveals the face of Giancarlo Esposito in one of its many malignant roles, and he also comes with a withdrawn version of his characteristic staff and a small blaster.

To be honest, I am a bit surprised that this Moff Gideon figure took so long to get on the shelves. But maybe this was something that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau kept under closure until the premiere of the episode in order not to risk any spoilers. Finally, toys are developed long before the release of a certain project, which means that a large window remains open to possible leaks. We are just glad that the figure finally hits the shelves.
