The internet seems to think so Ashanti could have another bun in the oven – thanks to her recent stage appearance with Nelly.

Chileeee! Ashanti chatted with others on social media The shadow room has removed footage of her and Nelly’s New Year’s Eve performance. In the clip, the couple donned all black to ring in the New Year. Nelly spotted Ashanti having a drink and joked. “Hey, what are you doing? What is that?” Ashanti quickly told the crowd: “It’s water.”

But what led internet sleuths to investigate was the video that showed Ashanti holding her hands on her stomach. Her actions sparked rumors that baby number two could be on the way. However, as of now, none of the lovebirds have confirmed or denied the craze.

As The Shade Room previously shared, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes spoke about rumors of baby number two after Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis in December.

Bossip met the couple at the event and journalist Damon Arnold asked if they were preparing for another baby, recalling how he predicted their first child.

Ashanti quickly ended it with: “Listen, don’t do that.” while Nelly just grinned and said: “I’ll stay calm.”
