Footage shows survivors walking out of the back of a crashed Azerbaijan Airlines plane and being dragged away.
Wednesday’s flight from Baku to Grozny in Russia’s Chechen Republic diverted over the Caspian Sea and crashed near the western Kazakh town of Aktau.
Some aviation experts suspect that the plane was hit by air defense systems. Russia says it will await the results of an investigation before commenting.
29 of the 67 people on board survived. Azerbaijan held a national day of mourning for the victims on Thursday.
