The Espresso 17 Pro is . It delivers excellent image quality, is robustly built, has built-in speakers and has a touchscreen function. The only real problem is that with a 17-inch screen, it might not be as truly portable as it could be.
Enter the Espresso 15 Pro.
As you may have guessed, the latest model features a 15-inch display. This is the second professional-grade portable monitor from Espresso Displays. The company already has a 15-inch non-touch version, but as the name suggests, this is aimed at working professionals and business travelers who could use more screen space on the go.
The Espresso 15 Pro that was introduced CES 2025has a resolution of 4K and a contrast of 1,500:1. It is said to display 1.07 billion colors and completely cover the AdobeRGB color spectrum. The LCD panel is actually brighter than the 17-inch model at 550 nits, while the larger monitor has a peak brightness of 450 nits. It also has two USB-C inputs. The downside is that the refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz.
In addition to MacOS and Windows devices, the Espresso 15 Pro works with iPhones, iPads and DeX-enabled Samsung Galaxy devices. It is also possible to use the espresso pen to take notes on the touchscreen.
Elsewhere, the Espresso 15 Pro comes with the brand’s new Stand+. The monitor attaches magnetically to the Stand+, which supports landscape and portrait orientation.
Pricing and availability for the Espresso 15 Pro have yet to be announced, but launch is planned for the coming months. Logic says the price will be somewhere between $299 for the Display 15 and $799 for the Espresso 17 Pro.
