The children of DC Young Fly react to a gift in honor of their late mother
For some, the holidays are all about celebration. But for others, they bring up painful memories of loss. Last Christmas, DC Young Fly and his family seemed to do a little of both as they honored the memory Jack Oh. A relative appeared to have received the gift comedian‘s daughters, nova And Nalaa beautiful sculpture of her late mother.
In addition to their girls, DC and Jacky also had a son named Prince Nehemiah less than a year earlier she died in May 2023.

In the video, Nova and Nala are wearing purple and pink pajamas. A woman behind the camera asks the girls if they are ready for their gift. The oldest, Nova, takes the gift bag that says “Hip Hip Hooray” and reads the card aloud.
“Merry Christmas, cousin babies. Your mother is always with you and looks down on you in everything you do. She is very proud of all of you,” Nova read. The card was lovingly signed by a cousin.
After hugging someone, Nova put the gift down and pulled out a medium-sized sculpture covered in bubble wrap. After pulling it out of the packaging, Nova immediately closed her mouth at the sight of Jacky Oh’s face and a sweet “Mommy” slipped out. By now Nala had come closer, smiled at the sculpture and repeated that it was her “mother”. At some point she admitted that she missed her mom.
The sculpture was about the size of a table lamp and featured Jacky Oh in her signature blonde cornrows, a silver necklace and a black outfit. Swipe down to view the footage and photos.
Since Jacky Oh’s death, DC Young Fly has spoken several times about how he is dealing with grief. End of June 2023, he admitted to crying all the time, but said he tries to keep his positive attitude.
