The Caisse de Dépôt et de Gesention (CDG) signed on Wednesday, a cooperation agreement with the Caisse des Dépôt et d’Epments du Niger (CDI Niger), which aims to strengthen their partnership and to promote the exchange of experts in several strategic areas.
This agreement is part of the strengthening of the South South cooperation. Through this partnership, the CDG confirms its commitment to the support of the dynamics of economic and social transformation by supporting the structural initiatives led by the deposit institutions, in particular the deposit institutions carried by the CDI. This cooperation is also part of an approach to strengthening the fraternal connections and strategic cooperation between the two institutions.
When signing this partnership, the CDG CEO Khalid Safir, CDG, emphasized the importance of this cooperation for the development of financial instruments that were adapted to the needs of African economies and for the support of investment projects with a high impact. He confirmed the desire of the CDG to put his know-how into the service of the CDI of Niger by the transfer of skills and the exchange of best practice in relation to guidelines of territories and local authorities as well as the administration of investment funds made it easier for infrastructure and financing.
