The Finnish engineering company Kalmar terminated this Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the signing of a contract with APM terminal to modernize 32 Kalmar riders that work in the port of Tanger Med.
Kalmar will begin the work in the 2nd quarter of this year and complete this order at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
According to the Finnish company, the modernization includes a complete upgrade that extends the operating duration of these devices and improves the safety, performance and reliability.

Reliability, security and productivity are the characteristics of the Kalmar devices, and this modernization program will enable the fleet of horse to continue to create a value for APM terminals for many years.”said Thomas Malmborg, President of Kalmar Services.
The APM terminals opened in 2019 is located in Tanger Med 2 Hair complex.
