Syria’s reconciliation centers: Former soldiers and officers hand in weapons

Former soldiers and officers as well as members of the police force in Syria visited reconciliation centers on December 21st. The centers were set up in part to clarify the status of those who were not involved in torture and killing during Bashar al-Assad’s many years of performance.
