Two agreements were signed on Tuesday in Meknes on the sidelines of the 17th edition of the International Agricultural Fair in Morocco (SIAM 2025) in order to promote sustainable treatment of agricultural water and to strengthen the resilience of agriculture.
The first refers to the participatory management of the Fès-Meknès water table with a concerted action program that is brought into harmony with the preservation of the ecosystem and the economic needs of the region.
The second agreement determines a framework for the cooperation between the ministries for agriculture and water to exchange data and specialist knowledge, to develop climate paper for the agricultural sector and to strengthen the skills of the actors concerned.
