Naveed Akram, the surviving suspect in Sunday’s mass shooting on Bondi Beach in Sydney, has been charged with 59 offenses, including 15 counts of murder and one act of terrorism, according to New South Wales Police.
The other shooter, his father Sajid Akram, 50, was killed at the scene in a shootout with police.
Fifteen people were killed and dozens more injured in the attack on Australia’s Jewish community at an event celebrating the first night of Hanukkah.
It was the country’s deadliest shooting since 1996.
