On January 31, the Centers for Disease Control and other state websites adhered to President Donald Trump’s executive commands and removed dozens of websites with regard to LGBTQ health, HIV information, racial differences and even treatment guidelines for some diseases. The cleansing took place on the weekendMillions without potentially important health and wellness information.
Some of the websites were replaced by A message that indicates That the website is “modified to comply with President Trump’s executive commands” while others are simply disappearing. Some information, such as This website for LGBT Health Servicesis still available in the CDC archives. However, such websites are now difficult to find and are likely to be completely removed because the CDC Trump’s commands continue to meet.

But the Internet never forgets and most of the removed websites are still available to see on the Internet archive Wayback machine. The Internet archive is best known for scratching and archiving as much Internet as possible, and has therefore stored pages before the president’s arrangement. Companies can consult the archives to obtain the information that the CDC still had to remove from its website.
Since the Internet archive is a non -profit organization that is financed by donations, Trump’s executive orders do not affect what it can show.
So you show remote websites on archive.org
The use of archive.org is a fairly simple process. The only information you need is mostly the original URL for the website removed. At the moment, these can usually still be found if they search for the topic, although the content is not visible.
The Wayback machine shows results in the form of a calendar. Some data in the calendar have blue or yellow circles. Blue circles refer to days when the Wayback computer recorded a snapshot of a website for the advertisement. Yellow circles represent partial or incomplete records.
Here you can find out how you can look out in the internet archive. The tutorial works the same way if you are in a mobile browser or a web browser.
- Go to the Internet archive Wayback machine.
- Insert the URL you are looking for in the search field on the website.
- As soon as the calendar appears, search for data in the calendar with blue circles.
- If there is none, return to the top of the search results and click on “2024” to load the snapshots of the past year.
- As soon as you have found the last date with a blue circle, click on or tap on it.
- Wayback machine shows you a snapshot of this website from this date.
Once you’re done, you have a snapshot on the deleted side. For example here are the CDC guidelines for the LGBTQ supply From the Wayback computer. The Wayback computer can be slow, and since many users are looking for these removed websites, you may need to try your search a few times.
