Street accidents claim 15 life in the urban areas of Morocco last week

Rabat – fifteen people were killed and 2,461 injured, 87 of them seriously in the 1,868 street accidents, which took place in urban areas from March 3 to 9, according to the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN).

These accidents were mainly due to the inattentiveness of the drivers, tracing the pedestrian’s unpleasant, no priority to keep the failure to keep a secure distance, and the speed exceeding pointed out in a press release.

With regard to the control and suppression of traffic offenses, the security services have achieved 42,314 tickets and withdrawn 7,638 driving licenses, while 34,676 transaction lower money was collected to 7.4 million dirhams according to the same source.

The DGSN also reported on the immobilization of 559 vehicles and the build -up of 5,521 vehicles.
